Rock, ink, and paper serve as visual elements, symbolically bridging the rich heritage of Chinese linguistic tradition with the conference’s focus on analyzing and enhancing Chinese language education. The Chinese word for “analyze,” 研, originally means “to grind” or “to mill,” reflecting the deep, thoughtful process of scholarship. Combining characters with natural elements underscores the intrinsic relationship between the Chinese language and nature. This design highlights the ancient practice of deriving inspiration from nature to create characters as both communication tools and works of art, narrating the language’s evolution, philosophical foundations, and pedagogical challenges.
