Confessions (2010) is a Japanese psychological thriller about a middle school teacher, Yuko Moriguchi, who took a dark revenge after the tragic death of her young daughter.

This sequence is designed to reveal the inner turmoil inside Moriguchi Sensei. Iconic visuals and symbolic motifs are used to depict the suffocating burden she carries. Her world feels broken, cold, submerged and heavy, reflecting the overwhelming nature of her emotions. Every detail is deliberate, illustrating how she has become trapped in the moment of her daughter’s death, unable to move forward or find closure.
