I’m a visual creator, storyteller, and motion designer based in New York. My journey began in language and communication, where I was drawn to how meaning can extend beyond words. Teaching at Princeton University deepened my appreciation for storytelling, but over time, I realized I wanted to tell stories through images and motion, not just words.
Hi!
I am Qi Qi.
That shift led me into motion design and 3D animation. I create work shaped by light, texture, and rhythm, and often exploring subtle emotions or turning familiar materials into something slightly unexpected. I’m currently pursuing my MFA in Motion Media Design at SCAD, and have worked with brands and studios including Apple, David Yurman, and Flavor.
At the core of my work is a simple belief: storytelling isn’t limited to language. It lives in movement, in timing, and in the emotional connection that visuals can create.
